I (Nicole) would like to re-visit the topic of website prices, for various reasons.
Please keep in mind that ALL prices recorded here are by perspective of an American buying or selling to other Americans. None of the prices on this website will represent non-Americans buying or selling to non-Americans. In other words, the prices recorded here will probably be different from the experiences of collectors who aren't American and don't typically see American prices. I'm re-addressing this concern since non-Americans sometimes reference this website for personal use. It can be a tool for non-Americans to use while buying from Americans, but this tool has its limitations for non-Americans as well.
Due to consistent community feedback, the way that community prices versus non-community prices are recorded with be revised for another attempt at clarity. Right now, how the website distinguishes between the two is unchanged, but will be edited... soon.
In regard to non-English cards, the prices will be updated after research is done. Please keep in mind that the American prices are only wildly high for certain non-English cards. Most of them are on the lower end of prices for American collectors simply due to a preference for English language.
Due to popular community feedback, refererences will be uploaded when possible. Unfortunately, this website has limitations; a large Excel spreadsheet recording all price history is not in the books right now. However, some screenshots to show "proof" will be uploaded for reference.
Last, but most importantly, the website will be more frequently updated than it was before. Every 3 months, the prices will be re-evaluated and the website updated to reflect necessary changes. Please keep in mind that website accuracy is always dependent on community effort. If prices look outdated, please send in screenshots. For example, the Serenity Ancient Lights promo was updated from $30 average price to $7 average price after a community member reached out with screenshot proof from eBay sold listings.
If anyone wants their original artwork cards to be added to the website directory, please email watermarked digital images to bellasara.database.info@gmail.com. Your email will be counted as permission to have the images of your artwork uploaded to the website.
To see an example, please go to the website directory (beneath the subheading Fan Inspired Cards) and check out Gridloch's artwork.Â
